The mitigation trap
Mainstream AI safety mostly talks about mitigating hallucinations. Better prompts, better fine-tuning, better RLHF. Every mitigation admits the failure mode is possible.
The impossibility contract
In NEXUS, the token generator cannot emit a claim without a citation to a live NEXUS entity. There is no path in the code that produces a claim-without-citation. The failure mode is structurally excluded, not statistically reduced.
The cost of the contract
You lose creative writing. You lose 'brainstorm ten wild ideas.' You gain the ability to sign a contract that says the system will never fabricate. That is what enterprise wants.
Why we use different words
Where the industry says LLM, we say CLLM. Where it says vector database, we say NEXUS. Where it says Chain-of-Thought, we say PRISM proof-tree. Where it says RAG, we say LATTICE. Where it says trillion-token dataset, we say Smart Router Dataset. Different words because different architecture. Read the whitepaper.
